Horst Tappe’s collection of portraits includes around 1,000 people, 50,000 negatives and 20,000 prints. It is stored at the Montreux District Archives in Switzerland. An inventory is underway.
A retrospective exhibition will be mounted to enable the Swiss and international public to discover Horst Tappe’s work.
A forthcoming book will present a selection of photographs, accompanied by texts written by specialists.
